Amsterdam has a Magnum store open for the Spring and Summer where you can make your own ice creams. Well, you at least have a say in the toppings that go one the outside, and choose the kind of chocolate shell you get. Inside is just regular Magnum vanilla.
It’s a great idea, and at €3.50 a pop pretty good value for a unique little experience. You can choose a few toppings with choices ranging from the relatively tame caramel pieces to the hoity-toity with blue cornflowers.
I went for caramel, speculaas pieces and crushed berry nougat. And it was gooood.
