I have a special place in my heart for the little Fiat 500. They’ve always been my Mum’s favourite car, and down in NZ they’re known as Fiat Bambinas, so they have a name that is as cute as their streamlined profile.
I look forward to one day having enough money to buy her a restored old 500 for her to rip around in.
On a separate note, I’ve made it to the three month mark! A quarter of the way there. The last couple of weeks I’ve struggled with motivation and discipline, so I don’t feel particularly overjoyed, but I’m really stoked that I’ve stuck with it as long as I have. It provides enough fire under my ass to make sure I don’t fall off the wagon (for more than a few days, anyway).
As a bit of self review, I don’t think my daily posts have gone quite as I had expected. I’m sort of caught between updates of my adventures and trying to post a good quality photo each day, and I feel like I’m compromising on both. Perhaps I will try for fewer, better quality photos, with some wordier posts thrown in so that I can drain some of the nonsense from my mind every once and a while.
