The Shard provides amazing views over London, and a good day you can see for miles.
On a good or bad day, the Shard itself looks plenty amazing all on its own. I loved the textured and patterns and slight unevenness of the structure on the upper, exposed viewing level. The gaps in the facade remind you that the building exists in the real world, connected to the elements, exposed to the wind at 240 meters up.
